Is this a good ski resort for beginners and will there be someone who can explain where I buy my lift ticket, skis, etc or show me around?
Yes, Aspen/Snowmass is an excellent place to learn to ski/snowboard. Buttermilk Ski Area and Snowmass Ski Area have green circle, Beginner to adv. Beginner ski runs for everyone. Aspen Mtn. And Aspen Highlands do Not have green circle slopes. Everyone recommends Ski/Snoboard School for the first few days. The Adult Beginner Magic program includes Lifts, Lesson and rental equipment through 4-Mtn. Sports. Highly recommended. Take at least.3-days of lessons with that package. Best $$ price you can get for learning to slide on snow !! Your friends and or Family can NOT teach you !! Aspen Mtn., No kids ski school. Buttermilk and Snowmass at the base at 9:00am. Little kids(3,4,5,6), 8:00-9:00am @ The Hideout(Buttermilk), the Treehouse (Snowmass). Come early, when its not as busy. Johnny Bokram
